- "Handbook for Health Care In Developing Countries"
This book is intended for use by individuals who are not trained professionals in areas where trained professional health workers are not readily available. The authors of this handbook worked with a rural medical clinic in the northern region of Ghana, West Africa. While handbook references and practices are at times expressed in terminology that is most familiar to Ghanaians, the intent of the handbook is that its application can be appropriate within all developing countries with tropical climates.

Missionary to West Africa, Grace Farrar recounts the joys and frustrations of family life on the field and tells about the struggles involved in establishing the Nigerian Christian Hospital. She chronicles her family's work from 1964 through the 1967 beginning of the Biafran War. The purpose of the book is to perserve history and to encourage potential missionaries who might be hesitant to take a family into a developing country.
